Jure gained work experience in the MICE segment of the tourism industry, as well as in hospitality, bars, and restaurants, where he excelled as a concept creator and manager of an ambitious wine & cocktail bar. As a freelancer, he has been either a part of the organization or a participant in many prestigious business and wine & food events in Croatia and Europe. He has created numerous themed wine tastings and conceptual dinners. Since 2015, together with esteemed colleagues and experts D. Grabarić and T. Tuđen, he has been designing and running the first Croatian Whisky & Spirits Club, contributing to the development of culture and responsible consumption of wine, spirits, and cocktails.

He holds a degree in history and tourism, with a postgraduate study in tourism management, with additional ongoing education in the development of specific forms of tourism. He holds the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits, and is an occasional lecturer at the Wine Academy Croatia, the leading provider of prestigious WSET courses. Jure is a certified tour guide for the city of Zagreb and its surroundings. He speaks English fluently, is currently improving his German (B2), and also speaks Italian. By creating creative business solutions and exclusive tourist content, his goal is to merge his qualifications and work experience with his passion for fine food and drinks, all the while promoting local heritage and culture through a healthy lifestyle.
